Dental Implants

Permanent solution for tooth loss

Dental implants represent a common procedure of permanently replacing missing teeth without affecting neighboring teeth.

With the help of dental implants, we can fully remedy toothlessness and thus strongly improve chewing and speaking abilities as well as restore a beautiful smile. Implants can also serve as carriers of a fixed dental bridge or denture.

Jaw Bone Preservation

In a healthy tooth, the root transmits chewing forces to the jaw bone. If one or more teeth are missing, these forces are no longer effective. Then the jaw bone is no longer stimulated and may start to recede, causing remaining healthy teeth to shift. By replacing the root of the missing tooth, dental implants may help prevent this gradual bone loss in the jaw and any shifting of remaining teeth.

Patient Comfort

With dental implants, the palatal plates required with conventional dentures are not necessary, so patients can feel more comfortable talking, smiling and eating.

Healthy Tooth Preservation

With a conventional bridge, the healthy teeth neighboring the site of the missing tooth must be ground down to support the bridge. However, when a dental implant is inserted in place of a missing tooth, adjacent healthy teeth do not have to be damaged.
